Some decisions are very difficult for me. It took me about 7 months to find the right stroller (and in the end I have some regrets). I have been thinking about pans for about 5 months now, ever since my parents said that a nice pan would be my Christmas present. At first, we were going to go for one of those fancy-pants new nonstick ones that supposedly doesn’t give you cancer because of its state-of-the-art new green technology. But everything I looked at had iffy reviews. (Truth be told, if you look long enough, everything has iffy reviews.)

I have an All-Clad sauce pan which makes me very happy. Once upon a time I registered for a number of All-Clad items on my wedding registry, and only the one was purchased. It has been the gleaming star of my cookware ever since. I think that I’m going to just bite the bullet and get a large All-Clad skillet. Here’s hoping that it lives up to my expectations.
