Lately, I have been walking around my neighborhood on a daily basis. The reason my husband and I chose this neighborhood is because it is an old neighborhood made up almost entirely of homes built from 1890-1935. Homes were torn down and land parcels were divided, so there are homes from the 50s and 60s sprinkled throughout as well. But the majority of homes are bungalows, four squares, and fairly modest Victorians.
Now that I’m staying at home with my daughter, I have more time to walk around and take note of all the architectural details that make these homes so great. I am going to try to take photos of some of the smaller details that have caught my eye and post them here.
I’ve been really excited by some of the window details that I’ve seen, so there may be more pictures of windows than anything else for now.
